I’ve been meaning to make this tutorial for a while, but ~humans-R-superior 's request finally gave me the needed kick in the pants.

I just wanted to mention that it also helps to look at how other artists draw the thing that you want to draw. Personally, I find the work of *andrahilde and *burdge-bug to be particularly inspiring.
